What is your personal head canon?

Shinzon ran the whole Empire and he was about 21 and fully human. Romulans are impressed when you kill a lot of important people so maybe Sela was better at that than she appeared.

Shinzon ruled the Star Empire for about five minutes because the Imperial Fleet allowed him to play at king before turning against him. The real power was the military.

In my headcanon:

Barnes (the Trill from LD) once said she had a sister who was joined. In my mind, that sister is Ohk from PIC. They'd be about the right age...

Also in my head, the reason LD had a Trill with a human name like that is because Barnes married a human crewmate and took his name. She's old school.

Just like Mirrorverse Tilly - Captain Killy.
An Ensign in one universe, a Captain in another

IMHC, not everyone in the MU is like that.

Meaning, there are some Captains who, while still loyal servants of the Empire, nevertheless treat their crews with respect and don't brutalize them.

After all...the best way to put down a rebellion is not to deserve one in the first place! ;)

She didn't really work for me. The blond wig in the Romulan haircut make her look goofy and Denise Crosby overplayed her, IMO. I honestly wish they'd left well enough alone and let "Yesterday's Enterprise" be the end of Tasha Yar's story.

I totally agree. I found the character tiresome. Crosby was good as Yar, but I agree Crosby overplayed Sela.

My headcanons are probably not terribly original

- A well-known one: that the holodeck recreation of the Enterprise is incorrect, and that Trip's death was falsified for some reason, but the truth never publicly came out. This one is cited enough that I have a tiny glimmer of hope LD might try and tackle it.
- While we're rewriting history, after being given a Starfleet commission during the Xindi Crisis, T'Pol wore a standard uniform from then on out. I never liked her catsuit, and she looked great on the rare occasion she wore one.
- While Seasons 1-2 of Discovery take place in the Prime timeline, Seasons 3-4 don't. When they traveled to the future they got caught up in some Temporal War nonsense where the Federation has dissolved.

To be clear, the Federation still exists and never dissolved in DIS S3/4.

Oooh forgot about her TNG The Devil's Due, good episode but didn't think she was a brunette.

Did Star Trek ever have an evil brunette?

Some examples of brunette villains...

"CATSPAW" - Sylvia
"THE ENTERPRISE INCIDENT" - Romulan Commander
"THAT WHICH SURVIVES" - 'Losira'
"Contagion" - Subcommander Taris
"Devil's Due" - Ardra
"Face Of The Enemy" - Commander Tareth
"Gambit" two-parter - Tallera

Only listed TOS and TNG... but there have definitely been brunette villains in the franchise.

OK thank you and yeah Ardra kinda hot

Despite proving her trickery she did persist and was a bit of a fighter
