What games are you playing currently?

OK I changed my attitude to this game and started The Outer Worlds again.. This time around I am having fun with the game and not being so melodramatic about the dialog options and characters as I was the first time around. I would say still though it's not perfect, but it's not boring either this time around.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
They shouldn't have released a game that still had so many glitches.

It's no worse then any of the other Lego games really, or is it that bad? Lego Indiana Jones has a lot of glitches on PC with handholds not working and random stuff that works sometimes and not at others. What platform are you playing on?

I have Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga what's the difference to the one you got?

I beat God of War last night. Now I'm going to go around and do all the favors and see if I can beat some of those damned Valkyries

It's on Switch. I used to play a lot of the Lego games on Windows but I don't recall the glitches. Maybe I had patched versions. "The Skywalker Saga" is the new one that was released a few months ago. It includes the sequel trilogy. "The Complete Saga" only went through Return of the Jedi since the sequel trilogy movies didn't exist yet.
I see a 1.2 GB update has been released for the Skywalker Saga. Hopefully it fixes some of the issues. I'm seeing conflicting reports on whether the update is available for the Switch. It better be!

I think that depends on how fast Nintendo do the game updates since they come through their servers.

I might get the Skywalker saga if it drops a bit in price for pc

My answer hasn't changed for a few years. Red Dead Redemption II, The Sims 4, and American Truck Simulator. I do have a growing Civ itch, though, so I may boot up Civ 5 or Civ 6.

Playing Still Life 2, and I think might have encountered a game-breaking bug that makes me unable to continue. I'm at a point in the story where I need to head out into the backyard and need to use a metal detector to find and disarm landmines. The problem is that the metal detector doesn't behave the way it's supposed to and no matter what I do, it doesn't seem to work. I even looked at a walkthrough to figure out the exact spots, and the metal detector continues to pretend like there's nothing there to interact with.

Are there any forums for this game you can look at? Is it Steam or console you might find help online if others have encountered the same game bug.

Found this bug thread

Oh, sorry, I forgot to mention that I'm playing it on GOG. It's an older game, and it wouldn't exactly surprise me to see little talk about it.

I actually made it further than the bug in that particular thread, but I don't know if it's a related bug. The particular bug I'm having happens a bit later after you escape from a bunker, which is what the hatch referred to in that thread leads to. You escape the bunker, and up through the hatch, and then you have to deactivate the land mines which is where I'm having issues.

Oh ok then. Can't seem to find much information about this game or related bugs.

Yeah, hence my predicament. :)

I'll try it again tonight. It might be something I was doing wrong. The problem is that the UI can be confusing when using things like the metal detector.

I finished the Ghost of Thushima: Iki Island DLC a few days ago. And since then I've been replaying inFamous: Second Son on my PS5. The game still looks great plus it runs at 60fps.

I just got that during a sale for ps4 but haven't touched it what's it like and what's the general idea of the game? It reminds me of Prototype with the way you move and do stuff.

Well I played it back when it was first released for the PS4 and I really enjoyed it. The game is now eight years old and I'm still really enjoying it. Basically it's an open world game where you play a character with all sorts of superpowers. I've never played Prototype, but based on everything I've read online there definitely are some similarities between the two franchises (this is the third game in the series). There's lots of shooting and melee combat with all these powers. Plus a pretty decent skill tree. So yeah it's a fun game and you should definitely check it out. If you have a PS5 play it on that and make sure you set the game to higher resolution and enable unlocked framerate. ;)

I have a ps4 slim and no regrets about not upgrading.

I played Tushimi last year but I don't really remember much about the expansion. It was fine but more of the same. I remember it brought in one or two interesting new mechanics that would have been great in the main game but with the DLC were underutilized
