What games are you playing currently?

Spider Man: Miles Morales on the PS5 via PlayStation Premium.

A very good and beautiful game. I enjoyed it just as much as Marvel's Spider-man.

I got the Platinum trophy on Spongebob Squarepants: Battle For Bikini Bottom Rehydrated. It was definitely more fun than I expected it to be.

Now, I think I'm going to play God of War in anticipation for Ragnarok and perhaps also play Sackboy: A Big Adventure, because I still have an itch for a platformer game :)

thet train chase remains one of the funnest but most annoying quests ever

That mission made me want to snap the disk when I first played SA. The same with the dancing missions Cesar Vialpando and It's A Beach that I had to try 20+ times to complete them.

When I played it most recently it took a few attempts to complete Wrong Side Of The Tracks but I got the Cesar and beach missions first try.

Same. I can't hear Kool and the Gang's "hollywood swingin" without getting the shakes and seeing falling triangles, boxes, circles and x's

Blue Fire. 3D platforming is a little hard to get used to. Especially when platforms dissolve out from under you as you're getting situated and preparing to jump to the next one, or you have to follow a complicated sequence up in the air but if you miss something you fall to the floor and have to start over from the beginning. :brickwall:

I just got to Alfheim in God of War. The game is really clicking with me coming back to it four years later, knowing it's not the same kind of game as the original trilogy. I'm liking it a lot more and the 60 fps patch for PS5 helps too :)

I'm going to go back to Chorus at some point but that one mission with the refugees irks me so much I nearly broke my controller.

Currently busy with Kingdom Hearts III, the final boss of Xenoblade 1, Xenoblade 2, Ni No Kuni II, Zelda Skyward Sword and Tales of Vesperia.

just yesterday i bought Xenoblade 3 from Walmart while i was around town.

The Outer Worlds. God this is bland. Who greenlit this game, it's ok but it doesn't deserve any of the rave reviews it gets.

I've been playing the Director's Cut of Ghost of Tsushima on my PS5. I've mostly just been sticking to the Iki Island DLC.

Oh man, I had so much fun playing that game. I think I enjoyed it more than any Fallout or Elder Scrolls game.

Just finished The Outer Worlds on Xbox. Took about 25 hours. Good game that didn’t overstay its welcome. Only left one real loose thread, and I’m wondering if that is what the second game is going to be about.

Just finished State of Mind this weekend. If anyone likes a good story and a cyberpunk setting, and beautiful art design, this game is quite amazing.

Do you mean the fate of Earth?

Honestly I have to admit I had fun with the game but the overall character dialog and options you were given felt a bit cringe inducing as if this was written by kids at one point. I am not sure what they were trying to go for with this game but too much forced humour really grinds my gears and there was a lot of it in this game.

I will do another run of it just to see what other choices I can do and side with other factions, but really I did not feel engaged with this one as I did with the Horizon games or any of the Mass Effect games. If I had to score it....

6/10 for the Outer Worlds

There was a speedrunner that did a video of this beating the game in under 12 minutes

This is the speedrun I was referring to

Yeah. I had left the actual thread out for people who hadn’t played the game yet.

Oh it's very vague. Earth barely gets mentioned and only a few times and at the end of the game in the closing slide show.

got Mario Party Superstars for the switch. Great group board game/ random minigame thing. Stupidly fun.
