What games are you playing currently?

I hate that my guy got malaria before I could even play the game aside from changing the point of view.

That's a pain in the ass.

This is the first of the Far Cry franchise I've played, though.

I need to go back and play through this. I quit after getting pissed at the unforgiving checkpoint and respawn system. BUT, I also loved Far Cry 3, 4, 5 and Primal... so it feels weird not having played this one :)

For me the only Far Cry games I liked were 1 and 3 and that's it. After 3 they kind of felt the same, what's the gimmick with Primal? Did they go back in time?

hell of a Far Cry game to start out with - it's very, very different from what followed, but it is a cult classic because of that

Yeah 2 to me felt big with how much time it took to get place to place, not sure if it had the biggest map of the series.

Yeah you're a member of a tribe fighting off two other hostile tribes. Along the way though, you also fight saber tooth tigers, woolly mammoths (some animals can be tamed, not mammoths though :( ). You also meet Urki the Thinker, one of Hurk's ancestors  I didn't think I'd like this one, since one of the draws to the Far Cry series is the crazy weaponry and vehicles you pick up along the way, but I had a good time playing Primal.

I don't think I'd like it.

I thought the same thing until I played it. It's worth at least a rental :techman: (if it's still available for rental... I'm pretty behind the times on such things :( )

I'll look up youtubes instead.... I'm not much for downloading games anymore or buying unless it's something I really, really want.

This is one of the Far Cry games that tempts me, even if just because the setting is so different.

Tetris Pro: It's a nice version with lots of surprises (slow, quick, upside down, bomb, blind etc...) and it displays a picture when you complete one level.

I'm playing Assassin's Creed: Rogue on my xbox 360 tonight.

Gotta stay awake to get on schedule for a new job.

Divinity 2: OS (Xbox One X)

Really good cRPG, Classic Mode has some pretty damn hard encounters early on.

Been playing Super Smash Bros Ultimate. It's been a bit of a climb getting used to the faster fighting, but it's pretty good so far. Hoping to get it for good some day. But for now it's just a rental.

Just finished a full (paragon FemShep, aka my "canon") playthrough of Mass Effect 1-3 (and the first one where my choices carried over, since the only other time I played ME 1 I didn't have home internet so the game couldn't update to carry over my save on PS3). Its still one of the best sci fi trilogies ever, and ME2 specifically is still one of my favorite games of all time. If Mass Effect 1 was actually fun to play (delete the tedious fucking Mako sections) and ME 3 didn't force mediocre to shit downer endings

at least give me the opportunity to earn a great ending, the Extended Cut helped the endings a lot but I should still have the chance to get an ending that ends happily with Shepard and Edi/the geth alive, just making one ending like that wouldn't have killed them

then the ME trilogy might be just about perfect. As it is its still amazing, easily Bioware's best work (at least that I've played, I've played all of their console games but none of their PC games). It sucks we'll probably never get a good, full ME game. Hell, the universe is so great it legitimately deserves to be a whole franchise outside the video game medium.

Eventually I'll do a renegade playthrough (I've never played a single renegade playthrough of any of these games, even though I've played ME 1 twice, ME 2 4-5 times and ME 3 at least 3 times), but after playing these games for about 90 hours combined over the last month or so, I won't be getting to the renegade playthrough for awhile.

Fallout 4 for some reason. I finished the central storyline and most of the loose side quests last year but there is always a thousand more of them out there, somewhere to do.

I've been playing the God of War III remaster for about a week now. I'm almost done.
I also recently bought Days Gone and Vampyr, so I think I'm gonna play Days Gone when I'm done with GoW3.
