I spotted Battlefield Hardline for only $15 at Wal-Mart yesterday, and since I've been wanting to check it out I picked it up. I decided to take a break from Arkham Knight to play it, and I played some yesterday and today and I'm really enjoying it so far. The whole thing is actually done like interactive cop show, I love these kinds of cop shows I'm getting a big kick out of it. When you star it has a TV style credits sequence with stars and guest stars, and you get "previously on Hardline" recaps every time you go back to the campaign. The missions are all labled as "episodes", and each time you finish one, the end of episode screen actually looks like the kind of screens you get when you finish episodes on websites or streaming services. The story is pretty good so far, and I actually like that it gives you the option to just arrest the bad guys without having to kill them, although I can't get more than a handful of arrests in an area before I get spotted and end up in a shootout.
