What games are you playing currently?

Well, FWIW, I only just recently played the first two AC games for the first time about a year and a half or so ago. I had initially bought the first game, played it some and found it rather clunky and difficult, more so because I wasn't really understanding some of the underlying mechanics at the time. It wasn't until after I had played through Black Flag that I became interesting again, and went back to the first game, then bought a collection featuring 2 and its expansions. Also bought 3 and Rogue at the same time. For all the praise 2 gets, I was honestly rather underwhelmed by the whole experience. I don't think it has aged very well.

I liked the first game including the protagonist (Altair was a bit of a dick), which is one of the aspects that got so much praise when 2 came out (personally, I found Ezio charming, but I never fell in love with him the same way a lot of the audience and the critics seemed to)

Doing more of Horizon Zero Dawn and loving this game. Aloy is fun but her running style is amusing it's like she's constipated when she runs.

oh I'm not hating, it was honestly disorienting for a minute reading that in 2019 :D

I played the original AC, AC II and Brotherhood back to back to back in 2011 (I think), so I came relatively late to that franchise myself

I didn't get my own xbox 360 until just five years ago, after my nephews got one to share for Christmas & I started playing the oldest one's copy of Batman: Arkham Asylum.

That summer, GameStop had a sale, the first game, the Ezio trilogy, and the ACIII for twenty or twenty-five dollars. I think AC: Black Flag was part of that deal, too, but can't remmeber. And since they were new to me, and I was new to playing the games, there was a bit of rage quitting involved. Lots of first achievements unlocked in the summer of 2014, but then I'd get stuck, or keep dying, or desynchronizing, and I would play other stuff.

Just downloaded AC: Rogue yesterday through my live gold membership, so I'll be playing that soon.

Rogue is the only one I haven’t played. I don’t why. I even own it as well. Must have fallen through the cracks.

The only thing I don't like about 2 is the scanning of the planets.
And 3 was great except for the end, the choices are terrible

The ironic thing about the second one was that in trying to address the hate on the Mako segments from the original game (which I personally never had an issue with), they replaced it with something worse. The planet scanning just felt so tedious and more like a bad Facebook game. At least the Mako segments in the first game were actually gameplay and had variety in their environments.

I liked the mako missions. And often I loved the view you saw, the landscape and the planets/moons

Yeah, me too. I didn't understand the hate for it. When it came down to it, they were alien landscapes, so it comes to reason that maybe some of them would be difficult to navigate with the Mako due to differences in gravity.

Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario 3 (Mario Bros on it). Still love this game. :) Also played some Solar Striker, The Urbs, Mortal Kombat 3, Kirby's Dream Land and Castlevania Adventure (was testing them out after cleaning them -- minus the Urbs).
