the Xbox360 games also have to be installed, they're a lot smaller but still take up space. My recommendation if just allow it to fill up and remove games A) when your done with them. B) when you need the space. You can always download again or install again.I'm playing Thief since it's December's Games with Gold giveaway, which is awesome. The game involves sneaking, and stealing, without major violence of any kind (so far). I love those types of games.
I uninstalled the Halo Master Chief Collection because I found out that:
A) On the Xbox One, all games are installed to the hard drive! I have a 500GB drive, and each Xbox One game file size averages anywhere between 15 and 50 GB each.
B) I couldn't justify using 65GB of precious HDD space for a game I played only a few times (I didn't get into Halo 1,2, or 3), and you can't install one Halo without installing them all.
I'm hoping more Xbox 360 games become backwards compatible, as I had a large library of digital games. The plus side is that since they're much smaller, I can easily hold all of them on this 500 GB drive and still have room for a number of Xbox One games, that is if they are made compatible.
Still, it looks like I won't be building a large collection of games, unless I plan on buying a massive external drive, so I'll just have to be careful.

Also if you go to xbox.com store online you van get this months Xbox 360 games with gold and they will be backwards compatible and appear on your download list to grab whenever you like.

Oh, indeed. Even with all of my Xbox 360 digital games, though, the size wouldn't exceed 150 GB of usage, and I'd have my entire 360 digital library (though I doubt they'll get around to making all of those compatible). One of my family members asked me why I'd want to put all those 360 games on my new Xbox One, and I told him that graphics aren't as important to me as gameplay. Plus, I still think 360 games look amazing!
Sometime in the future, I hope to buy a 2TB external drive, and then I just won't worry about it after that.
When I play games I flit about. I might play 9 or 10 games all at once, because I play when the mood strikes me and for whatever genre tickles my fancy. Kathy bought be a 1tb Xbox one for Christmas and that's already 45% full. She also got me the 500gb which after the warranty was up I stuck a 1tb hard drive in to. There's no doubt you need huge amounts of space but I tend to install, leave until complete or I'm finished with, then uninstall.
I am in the process of debate over The Witcher. It's on GOG now and they sell DRM free so it's kind of tempting. Come to think of it the original disk I had before I lost it was also DRM free by the look of it till I lost the disk. CD Projekt don't believe in DRM or are they just fun people?

I had 60+ titles (counting the digital games) then, and always had something to enjoy. I can't play just one kind of game until I complete it, as I don't have time to play a game to completion without losing interest because it takes months for me to do because of time constraints.
So this is new for me, this idea that a large library is highly detrimental to my game playing. I want to build a large library, but the idea of installing/uninstalling over and over again just to fit new games on, it reminds me of floppy disk switching. "Oh, you need to run this program? Pull out the OS disk, insert the program disk, wait until installation, remove program disk, install OS disk. Resume."
That really feels like a step backward.
HALO 5 BECAUSE LOOK WHAT I GOT FOR CHRISTMAS!

Hm...I have gone bonkers. I have a 2tb hard drive as my main PC drive and have filled it with steam games. I have 73 in my library and have reinstalled 14 of them, which amounts to 120gig so far. I am trying to resist the urge to reinstall more games because frankly a lot of stuff I have bought is stuff I consider crap.
Hit 100% on Lego The Lord of the Rings the other night, but still have a couple of achievements left to unlock before I'm completely finished with it.
This is the second time I've played that game all the way through, first time was on the Wii, this time it was on my xbox 360.
I have been playin' the first Bioshock all afternoon...not sure how much more I have left to do with that game, though. There doesn't seem to be a percentage...
