What games are you playing currently?

RPG's come and go, but World of Tanks is always there and feels new and fresh every time I log into it. Been grinding on it for the past couple years and participated in both the X360 and X1 betas. I know pay-to-play models irk some people, but I've found that they do a pretty good job balancing such things, and if you play long enough, you get occasional free perks that would otherwise need to be bought with real-world money (that gets converted into in-game "gold").

I would definitely like to see World of Warships get ported (eventually to be rockin' a Tier X Yamato), as well as World of Warplanes, although I haven't heard too many good things about the latter. Lots of reliability problems, glitches and unbalanced match-making algorithms.

I'm liking Assassin's Creed Syndicate more than Unity. I had a quick go on Elite: Dangerous... I'm not sure I've got used to it at all but I had a few hours fun.

^ Yeah I really enjoyed AC: Syndicate, it was WAY better than Unity.
I still haven't gotten around to finishing it. I reached a good stopping point and just didn't have any motivation to continue. I need to revisit it eventually, but right now I have decided to replay "Arkham Asylum."

I started playing Uncharted 3 on my PS4 earlier today. I've played it a few times already on the PS3, but that was back when it was released so I'm looking forward to playing it again.

I've debated picking up the trilogy for my PS4. I've played all of them several times on PS3, but I was interested to see how they compare on the newer system.

^ Well I'm sure you've read a review or two. They basically play the same plus all three games look super pretty. :)

Finished Tomb Raider (2013) the other day, 97% complete overall. Go me.

Got back to playin' Bioshock 2 this afternoon, unlocked a few achievements.

WoT has a very good business model and is actually free to play because apart from specialty tanks which you can only buy you can unlock every tank through good play in a reasonable amount of time. The better you play the faster you unlock, it's that simple. It has a very steep learning curve and lone wolf type Call of Duty players won't get far in this game but everybody else who does their homework will be rewarded.. it is still a very tactical game and i applaud them for providing such a good game that is essentially free.

I was in the World of Warplanes beta and quickly gave up.. routing your input commands through servers somewhere in Russia and then back to you is one bad choice for an action game where split second decisions are very important (unlike WoT where a half second delay is usually not that critical) but this alone made the game near unplayable.

I hugely enjoy World of Warships too though the first 1-2 minutes are boring as hell as everybody has to pick up speed first and drive towards the center of the map before discovering enemy ships and be withing shooting range, it's definitely not one for the first person action shooter crowd.

There's some pretty good games that will come out this year.. first and foremost XCom 2 to drop in 3 weeks ( can't wait!), then there's Gothic (strategy game set in the Warhammer 40K universe involving huge capital ships bashing each other), Total War Warhammer (this is going to be awesome) and Dreadnought (think WoT in Space but with many changes and additions).

Sometimes i really feel that i should give up my job to have enough free time to play all these and i have other hobbies too!

That Deadnaught game sounds interesting.

I just downloaded Rebel Galaxy over the weekend and have been poking around with it. Whoever built this game seems to be a serious Firefly fan. It has a very Old West feel, complete with a generic Southern/Western Rock-like soundtrack. Has a very Traveller feel to it without being too over-complicated with micromanagement. Very cool game, although I always go home to WoT after a long day at work.

Finished Arkham Asylum for the 4th time. I don't think I want to continue with the series right now. I'm a little Batmanned out.

I looked up Rise of the Tomb Raider, and I saw that's not being released on PS4 until December 30th! I knew the XBox thing was a timed exclusive, but I didn't think it would be that long!

I have too many games on the go at the moment, I'm a very lazy gamer. I buy em, play em for a bit then get distracted by something else and end up never going back.

I had a list of games I wanted to finish before I got a PS4, then caved and bought one anyway.

I'm currently playing through (in no particular order):

Fallout 3 (360) - approx. 25% through
Tomb Raider 2013 (360) - approx. 66% through
Mad Max (PS4) - approx. 15-20% through
The Last of Us (PS3) - approx. 50% through
Borderlands 2 (360) - no idea how far through, playing co-op with a friend

There's a bunch of others I want to finish too, but I probably never will.

I'm exactly the same, I bought Arkham Knight with my PS4 but haven't touched it yet, due to racing through Arkham Origins first. I haven't the stomach for another Batman game at the moment.

And yeah we have to wait ages for Tomb Raider on PS4, it's only just been released on PC too. I'm surprised we're getting it at all tbh, how much extra cash do you think it would have taken from M$ to make sure it never saw the light of day on Playstation?

I've played all the Arkham games. After finishing Arkham Knight, I just really got the urge to start over from the very beginning of the series, but that's a whole lot of Batman, and I need to take a break.

I still think Asylum is my favourite.

Origins was not fun to play through, you can tell it was made by a different studio. All the components were there, but it just felt like there was no soul in it.

I was just catching up on Star Trek Online today to wind down.

I have four toons. One of them was neglected until my next go around.

I'm about 25-30% done with the story on assassin's creed syndicate. Just started rise of the tomb raider got the first little bit done now in a Syrian lost city or something.
