Lonemagpie, I hope you will find enjoyment in Alien Isolation.![]()
Enjoying it so far - haven't encountered the Alien yet, but mainly I'm enjoying the level of detail in replicating the settings of the original movie.

Btw, my apologies for mistyping your name, kirk55555.
Yeah, I wasn't quite sure if I wanted to "go back in time" so to speak with Batman Arkham Origins. I might, since I am usually a completionist.
I hope you'll be able, in the future, to continue enjoying the Arkham series.
Arkham Origins is fun, and honestly it probably has the best story out of all the Batman games so far. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it was basically just Arkham City: Part 2. Half of the game map is the same (it takes place in the same part of Gotham before it got converted into Arkham City).
Still, if you like Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, I see no reason why you wouldn't like Origins.
Origins boss battles can be hit & miss and the overall map design is weaker than Arkham City but the combat system is still a lot of fun and the story in places is fantastic. There are several origin stories in play and in particular one storyline that I won't spoil is awesome![]()
After beating Origins yesterday, I think for me the boss battles were more miss than hit. There were a few that were just extremely frustrating, and the worst ones were also usually long ones where, if you make one mistake, you're forced to redo about 10+ minutes of the fight. The last boss fight especially had me cursing up a storm![]()
Same, I got pretty pissed at that last one and probably is one of the reasons why I never bothered to replay the game. The last boss fight especially had me cursing up a storm
South Park bar a few mild frame rate drops is one of the most enjoyable experiences you will play. Being a fan of the show helps too and even for a casual RPG fan like myself, the game never gets too complicated and the story is downrightNext, I'm starting South Park: The Stick of Truth, and I'm really excited for this one. I love South Park, and RPGS, so this should be great
I'm in the same boat, I'm still learning how to get better at battling. Worth every cent and I'm looking forward to the Wii U version tooJust unlocked all the characters in Smash Bros on the 3DS. Including that one sniggering bastard from all those years ago. Not so funny now that we can actually attack you, is it?!
Having fun with it and looking forward to the Wii U version, especially after that 50-facts (or 54, who's counting?) video yesterday. But I don't think that I'm actually that good at the game. It just seems like I have a hard time actually trying to land attacks properly. Maybe I just need more practice.
I've always felt that Alien and Outland universes would make great crossovers. I mean, the visual style and corporate natures are just so similar.Just stumbled across a clear Outland reference in Alien Isolation! Huzzah!
