What do you mean low end? What counts as low end?
Basically, the cheapest one to buy. It also refers to how low the specifications and features are.
With PC games there are minimal system requirements. My notebook/laptop can cope with certain games that aren't demanding on the system memory. (4GB RAM or lower.) If I wanted to play something like Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Seige, which requires 6GB RAM, then I'd have to upgrade to a more powerful laptop or PC.
Although, there are some great older, indie and free to play games out there to keep me happy.
I managed to get Dragon Age Inquisition to work on mine (Acer v3-551 with A8-4500m and HD7640g) - but I seriously wouldn't recommend it.
The only reason I even tried was because my old processor had just died in my desktop. Mass Effect 3 worked fine on it though.
^ Man, you wouldn't like Shadow of the Tomb Raider's "Deadly Obsession" difficulty which is basically "very hard" plus the game only saves at camp fires. So there are parts where the game doesn't save for well over an hour. And if you die, you have to replay the whole section.![]()
