Spoilers What fanwankery will they pull for the finale?

Cortez and Bob Saget adore the finale. The rest of us despise it and rename Terry Matalas Terry the Terryble.

A space portal appears. Chris Pine's Kirk lands on Daystrom station and frees Paul Wesley's Kirk. A hologram of William Shatner appears. All three cook eggs together.
...
A voice sounds from a nearby storage container, "I don't want you to panic."

Out steps a holographic James Cawley, "But I'm the Kirk from the double double future. I'm the Kirk with the Spock that married Uhura. Now, from this point on, things get a little complicated..."

Think about it.... Most of Starfleet has been killed. It won't be mentioned in this episode.

No chance. Lol Thats probably the worst episode of the entire season but there's alot of competition. Honestly, how did this script ever get the green light?

Now the producers have an excuse moving to forward to feature young actors because Starfleet's average age has certainly taken a huge nosedive lol.

I would think for any ship taken over by the 25 and under Borg the safest thing to stopping any attempts at surviving 'old folk' would be to have all your Borg in specific sections and then just vent the atmosphere on the rest of the ship and kill the unassimilated.

That's fine, but nothing was ever mentioned regarding the casualties that Starfleet incurred. Nothing. All smiles and poker.

Castillo,Yar and the Enterprise C turn up for the battle.
The EMH and Bashir show up treating wounded.

Doesn't matter how many people died as long as you end with a joke about it.

So here's a thought, doesn't everyone usually complain about Disco being too emotional? "Everyone cries too much. These are supposed to be professional officers who should be expected to maintain a sense of decorum when on duty." Yet now we're seeing complaints along the lines of "thousands of people died and our heroes just shrug it off with jokes, smiles and a game of poker."

Guess someone will complain no matter what these shows do.
