Spoilers What fanwankery will they pull for the finale?

If I were allowed to cram as much fanwank into the ending as possible, it would go something like:

As Galaxy-class frames were designed to last 100 years, the Enterprise-D should still have a good few decades left in it. So after it literally saved the Federation again, Starfleet decides to give it a proper refit, recommission it as the NCC-1701-G and place it under the command of either Riker or Worf. My fanwanky wish would be to give Data his own command, but as he died as a Lieutenant Commander, he'd probably be reinstated as a full Commander at most, making him First Officer. The refurbished Enterprise is then sent off by Fleet Admiral Janeway on an exploratory mission to an uncharted region of space, optionally leading a task force that includes the USS Titan under the command of Seven of Nine and the USS Voyager-B under the command of Tuvok. And the adventure continues.

we could just end with the Thermians reviewing the historical records.

Picard and the Enterprise plus Janeway and Voyager and Sisco and the Defiant all team up to defeat the Borg. Thats what I want to see.:)

Forget about Fanwankery; I guarantee you that we'll never hear of the Titan's casualty list, Shaw's death, the changelings. I hope that someone mentions how many people in starfleet are after dying, but i doubt it.

Cortez and Bob Saget adore the finale. The rest of us despise it and rename Terry Matalas Terry the Terryble.

A space portal appears. Chris Pine's Kirk lands on Daystrom station and frees Paul Wesley's Kirk. A hologram of William Shatner appears. All three cook eggs together.

Lwaxana shows up and smacks Riker for not giving her more grandchildren, while going through some kind of Betazoid female biological event.

Ok, Shatner is the holy ghost here, so which one of Pine or Wesley is the Father, and which is the Son?

I didn't understand the post-credits scene where Sulu shows up at Daystrom just to kick Kirk's dead body several times.
