Well, honestly, if you don't like steampunk, bizarre historical artifacts, and healthy doses of silly, this might not be the show for you. It's not supposed to be a straightforward, deadly-serious science fiction show. It's meant to be offbeat and whimsical.
After a few minutes of the pilot, I wasn't watching Warehouse 13 for straightforward and deadly-serious. I was watching for some laughs and light hearted action fun.
What I'm saying is, I don't find it very funny. The whimsy has no delight. Whereas the goofy science on Eureka still does, which I think is because the whole retro appeal in Warehouse 13's steampunk vibe strikes me, very hard, as lame.
