Warehouse 13 renewed for fifth/final seasonfinal

I especially love the way Pete interacts with Jinks. He acts like a kid but in some ways he's the most mature character on TV. :rommie:

The most interesting artifact for me was Jerry Garcia's black light. :mallory:

And Claudia singing "Cherry Bomb" with Cherie Currie? Groovy. :D

I agree with all that. Cherry Bomb was a cool little surprise. Though I think White Rabbit was probably the coolest music moment on W13.

Ovarian Cancer!!!!! :klingon:

What the????? :wtf:

Is it going to be a dream?

Is someone going to be tempted to use an artifact for a cure? :vulcan:

Will this bring a 19th century Warehouse agent back to North Dakota? :bolian:

I was wondering the same thing! New story line when things should be winding up/down? And what about those other two--I can't even remember them, they made such an impression--the husband and wife that lived...how long?

AND...this Nick?! WTF?! Another new story line?

I want all the past questions dealt with and ideas on what happens to our guys, not a bunch of new things that will eat time and likely be given short shrift anyway.

You know, I was wondering why nobody was talking about that today!

That caught me completely by surprise. WTF indeed!

I suppose this could be about using an artifact to cure somebody, but haven't they already gone to the "use an artifact for personal gain" well a few times already?

No idea where this is going . . . .

Yeah, that was a hell of an ending, all right. I'm sitting there thinking what a great episode it was-- a great story (and performance) for Pete, some nice bonding for Steve and Abigail, newly adult Claudia gets to pay some of her good fortune back to a homeless kid-- and then suddenly the kid is a mole and Myka has ovarian cancer. With only three episodes in the season left. This must be leading up to the season finale. They better not let Myka die.

Pete and Claudia will begin a hunt for an artifact that will cure Myka, provided she tells someone, of course.

I only started watching again recently after a long dry spell. Not real crazy about the Kelly Hu character, just seems extraneous. However, Steve seems to have merged in with the group better than I thought when he was first introduced. They seem to be getting better at making seamless joins between the A and B plots which is good.

Not sure about the ovarian cancer thing, seems a bit heavy-handed. I thought what they've done with Artie has been good but not sure about this type of drama in W13.

Oh, and Cynthia Watros as a crazy emotional wreck? She could just phone that performance in, lol

I had to ask Hubby who the actress was (Watros), not like I'd really recognize her (I don't care about the actors, usually). But even I could see she's had work done. Did her forehead always look that...off?

I recognized her immediately, but it took me about five minutes to realize I remembered her from Lost.

But she won't, naturally.

She'll tell Abigail, because Abigail means "nothing" to her and won't be devastated by the news.

I wonder if the Warehouse doctor will tell the regents the news... or will Abigail (if Myka does confide in her.) do it?

Will Jane show up? :vulcan:

Will Jane spill the beans to Pete... or to Helena? :bolian:

Inquiring minds want to know and DO NOT WANT TO WAIT until July! :scream:

Sometimes, you just got to love Pete!

:luvlove:

I thought for a second there, that Nick impersonated the Doc to give Myka false news.

:techman:

Alas, I don't think that way now.

:(

Now I just wonder about "who" they could possibly find that has the technological know how to fix a bronzing machine from the 16th century.

Hmmmm.

:p

Yeah, I know. It's not going to happen, but a kid can dream, can't she?

;)

Wow. We didn't have to wait all season for her to tell Pete! Thank God.

I liked last night's episode--lots of cute lines ("You know how a ladder works, right?")

^^ And "The floor broke my fall." :rommie:

Yeah, this episode was really good. I like how Myka was playing out all the possible reactions from Pete in her head-- in the end he just hugged her. More and more it seems that, beneath his playful exterior, Pete is one of the most mature characters on television.

And, in true Warehouse 13 fashion, the bad guys are not as bad as they seem. Charlotte just wants an end to lonely immortality for herself and her kid. But Paracelsus, on the other hand, may not have a good side. I suspect not. But it was great to see ASH again-- I wonder if he'll appear in an episode together with James Marsters.

All in all, another great episode. Great character stuff, I loved the pirate's lair and the smoke monster, and Claudia has been bronzed-- and the bronzing machine smashed!

Senator Palpatine? ;)

Thank gosh Myka didn't stop to say "Huh?" When Pete called him that.

Loved how we (and Artie) are still learning new things about the Warehouse.

Loved who Paraclesus turned out to be.

Loved who "The Keeper" turned out to be. :techman:

Loved how we have 3 caretakers now... past, present, and future. :bolian:

Do not love :( there's only 1 ep left, and pray that next year gives us some sort of closure.
