Something to note - apparently the Koenigs were supposed to be on Larry King and they pulled out literally moments before going to air. I can't help wonder if this might have been why.
Supposedly, the story going around is they were supposed to be on at half past the hour, but King kept bumping them back until the last segment -- and kept breaking for commercial toward the end -- so they left.
E! "News" tonight spent their only coverage of this item trying to manufacture a controversy about the Koenigs pulling out of the interview. Leave it to E! to scrape the absolute bottom of the barrel when people are suffering.![]()

This sucks either way.
If something bad happened---it's awful.
If he's just hiding/laying low/keeping a low profile---he's being a total jerk. His parents are obviously loving concerned people despite the fact that's he's a middle aged man and if he's not aware what anguish he's putting them through--he must be crazy.
Still hope he's alive.
Walter's a jewell of a person--at least from the way he acts at conventions.
There is a writeup and dozens of pages of comments on cbc.ca: http://www.cbc.ca/canada/british-columbia/story/2010/02/25/bc-body-found-koenig.html#socialcomments
Most comments express condolences to Walter, Judy, Danielle, and the rest of their family and Andrew's friends. A few not-so-nice comments may be the result of a misunderstanding between not knowing for sure if Andrew had been found and later seeing the confirmation. Unfortunately there are always a few idiots who log on just to post nasty "why is this news" comments.
But by and large, Canadians have been following the news updates on this sad happening and sincerely wish nothing but peace for Andrew and his family.
For myself, I watched the press conference on the 'Net, and am grateful to Walter Koenig for finding the strength to go public with this and to reach out to other depression sufferers (I am one). He may have saved someone else's life with that encouragement to seek help.
