Walter Koenig's son is missing?

Something to note - apparently the Koenigs were supposed to be on Larry King and they pulled out literally moments before going to air. I can't help wonder if this might have been why.

Supposedly, the story going around is they were supposed to be on at half past the hour, but King kept bumping them back until the last segment -- and kept breaking for commercial toward the end -- so they left.

News conference on now. Walter Koening confirms it was Andrew's body, and that he took his own life. :(

So sad.

My thoughts go out to the family. :(

Andrew Koenig: 1968-2010

That news conference was unbearably sad. Walter and Judy look so broken. Losing a child is hell no matter how old they were or how they died.

Best to Walter & Judy. :(

It's a shame Andrew couldn't find peace from depression another way.

:(

So very sorry to hear this news.

I am not very religious; but I will say the Mourner's Kaddish tonight (Jewish prayer during period of mourning).

Please keep Walter and Judy and their family in your thoughts and prayers.

:(:(Damn. Thats so sad to hear. I know what its like to go through extreme depression. I have bouts with it frequently. I really feel for the family right now.:(:(:(

So strange hearing about this sort of thing when it happens to a member of the crew who you felt so close to growing up. You think that it can't happen and then it does.

I feel the same way when I heard about Shatner's wife dying....

My condolences to Walter and his wife and family.

Andrew is at peace now, but his family's struggle will be ongoing for some time to come... I hope they realize that this is NOT anybody's fault - not theirs, not Andrew's.

For what it's worth, Stanley Park is a beautiful and peaceful place to spend one's last moments in life. I hope he did not suffer too much more pain.

Peace to all.

First, let me just get it out of the way that Larry King has always been and continues to be quite the horse's ass.

Most importantly, my condolences to the Koenig's family. I hope in some small way all this love and support is helping.

I'm sitting here having a hard time not weeping, thinking about how hard this must be for Walter and Judy. I'll be sending extra wishes and prayers to the Koenig's tonight.

Rest well Andrew.

E! "News" tonight spent their only coverage of this item trying to manufacture a controversy about the Koenigs pulling out of the interview. Leave it to E! to scrape the absolute bottom of the barrel when people are suffering.
