Viewing Habits

I've been usually doing an episode or two a week. I used to watch a great deal more, but I've started getting into other forms of sci-fi (Stargate, BSG, etc.) so those have been taking up a good chunk of ex-Trek time.

I forgot about the fact that I've been watching the TOS Remastered episodes.

I watch an episode maybe once every two weeks or so. I used to watch almost daily, but I've recently been into anime and various other sci-fi shows so I've been focusing on those lately.

When I have lots of things to do, I usually make the time to watch a random Trek episode every few days... mostly DS9. It's, like has been said, a happy place. Escapism is a powerful tool of the human mind.

Apart from Trek, I got the new Doctor Who dvd box sets and House, M.D.. Yay.

I can't worry about latin, old English and football all the time.

I watch Trek when I work out, usually on the treadmill. I am rewatching ENT again right now (currently in the middle of S2) and watch 3 eps per week, one for each time I work out.

I also watch TOS-R on weekends.

I only have a Time Travel set on DVD and no access to cable where I can watch re-runs. I hope to be getting a box set of TNG, DS9 or VOY early next year and start watching again on a regular basis.

It has been literally years since I last watched Trek for pleasure. These days the only time I pull out a TOS/TAS DVD or open the iTunes 1979 cinema edit of TMP is when I make the dreadful mistake of getting into an argument - usually with Timo - over some obscure element of Treknology and need to quote exact dialogue (or post screencaps) in order to make a point.

Sometime last year I was on a kick of watching my favorite TOS eps. Network was in reruns again, so every couple of nights I'd sit down and watch a Trek. Ran thru all my faves, then my next-to-faves. I skipped the utter crap. That was probably the last time I went out of my way to watch Trek. Well, except for fast-forwarding thru the CBS remasters to see how bad they screwed up the new effects.
