You clearly forgot the Season 1 D7.
No way, that was cool. I always thought Klingon ships up until now looked like they were designed by humans. Too utilitarian. The Klingon ships in Season 1 actually look like alien craft.

I agree, unless the galaxy has suffered some sort of dark age regression, prior to Procyon V and there simply haven't been many new ships built apart from Enterprise J types, leaving them throwing a boneyard fleet into the fray.J only appeared as a briefly glimpsed wall art. I think the picture they used was fine enough for that purpose. It looked somewhat weird in a way which set it nicely apart from the earlier eras. The two-hundred-year-old ships fighting outside the window were silly though. They should have only used the Dauntless model for that, if there was no time or resources to make new models.
Just too bad they didn't look like Klingon ships.![]()
More like bringing the American Revolutionary War era fleet back to service in 1930s...By the ca. 2574 we see in "Zero Hour(ENT)" the Federation could be commanding what amounts to the 26th century equivalent of a WWI mothball fleet pressed into service in the late 1930s.
I guess it is nice that someone likes them... The Klingons traditionally have had the best ships of all the alien species in Star Trek. They have had solid, consistent and recognisable aesthetic. Bird of Prey, D7, D5, the Raptor, all great designs. That's what I'm saying. I've never liked Klingon ships. They don't look truly alien. Neither did the Klingons themselves for that matter. Discovery is their best iteration yet.
I personally prefer Romulan or Cardassian ships to Klingon.I guess it is nice that someone likes them... The Klingons traditionally have had the best ships of all the alien species in Star Trek. If I follow correctly I don't believe we know for certain. It's just speculation. Annoying speculation but speculation nonethelessHow come know that the J will be in the future DSC jumps to?

They've shown them to be very ornate in other ways so as much as i dislike the Fullerized ships, they make sense.I don't know. I think Klingons should be pretty utilitarian, when you think about it.

Elvis did have a powerful army...Eh. they had warp drive and heavy weapons that could clearly destroy Sphere Builder ships. An 18th century American field commander wishes he had the Industrial Revolution equivalent of such armaments to use against the forces of the King.![]()
