Stamets is the only likeable character at this point, I don't think that they'll kill their darling. Who else is there to care about?
Stamets? Likeable?![]()
I find some other characters likable at this point (Saru and Tilly come to mind) but Stamets is the only one I'd truly miss if they killed him off, even if there was a good reason for doing so.Stamets is the only likable character at this point, I don't think that they'll kill their darling. I really hope they don't kill either Stamets or Culber. Introducing a gay couple only to kill one of them has been done a lot in TV shows and it is really not something people like.
Er.. no.The days of formulated pradictable trek are over.....thank goodness.
He might meet Daniel JacksonI don't see Stamets dying, but I do wonder if as a result of being linked to the spore network he'll, like "ascend" to another level of the universe or something by the end of the season, functionally killing off his character.
Quickly after the jumps go haywire, President-Admiral Archer is beamed aboard and rejuvenated to his real-life age by the mushrooms. His only contact will be his friend Al via the holographic communicator. So far at this point i don't think it would bother me too much if they killed off everybody and the ship continued on it's mission via auto pilot, as it becomes trapped in a continuous spore jump, with the Discovery leaping from star system to star system, putting things right that once went wrong and hoping each time, that it's next spore jump will be the jump home.
Ohhhhhh Boy!
