I was watching Altered Carbon with Joel Kinnaman. It made me think of one of his previous shows, The Killing, and how I dropped it without hesitation after the first season ended with no advancement in the story and no resolution. I did read up on how season 2 ended and wow, what a let down after dragging out a murder investigation for two seasons.
The Following with Kevin Bacon was another one. Felt like there was nothing driving that show other than seeing if they could top the last gruesome murder with an even bigger one.
Fairly Legal was a light and harmeless show on USA during their "blue skies" era, but they retooled it for season 2. I watched the season premiere, but that was enough to make me stop.
Any shows you watched that lasted more than one season but the first season was enough for you?
