TV Characters that Remind You of Klingons...

Okay, fellow Trek fans... have you ever been watching a TV show other than Trek and been reminded of Klingons? What TV show and what character? Tell us about it!

My example is from Naruto... The character is Rock Lee. For some reason, he reminds me a lot of Worf... Right down to the speech patterns...

Interesting question. Well, with his short temper but having a sense of honour, I guess you could say Doakes from Dexter applies.

Although when it comes to patriarchs engaged in backdoor machinations, Julius Galt on Charlie Jade would do Gowron proud. ;)

Those are both stretches, but they're shows I've watched recently or am currently watching. But in general, on TV, who is a lot like a Klingon?

D'Argo on Farscape. Hell, he's basically Worf - DS9 Worf, the one who's a bit rough around the edges and can be a real stick-in-the-mud with his honour shtick at times. Fun character though.

Tyr Anasazi, Telemachus Rhade, and pretty much all the other Nietzscheans from Andromeda. Though I know they're not really copies, they just kind of reminded me of them in a couple ways.

Martian Centurian Robot, from Duck Dodgers, voiced by Michael Dorn. (I couldn't find a picture of the more Klingonesque elder he played in the series Dinosaurs.)

Carl Sack (John Larroquette) on Boston Legal. He reminds me of Maltz in Star Trek III for some reason. ;)

Blade is sort of Klingon-like (well, TNG-era Klingons at least). The constant wearing of armor, the code of honor, the use of a mix of modern and archaic weapons, fighting enemy Houses, driven by rage and vengeance, etc.

Same here.

Also - Teal'c and Ronon.

Ice-T from L&O:SVU.

Dennis Haysbert from The Unit

Mark Harmon from NCIS if he were a little bigger... he's got the no-BS attitude though.

I think Naveen Andrews from Lost could make a good Klingon.
