Things That Will Never Be Answered

What Guinan was planning when she did this.

--Sran

Good one. Lots of theories, but no answers. That was a weird, but interesting scene.

Here's one--- What were Kirk and Deela actually doing when they were alone in his quarters, in Wink of an Eye.

If the spaceship Yonada is only a year from it's planned destination and it's obviously going at sublight speed. Wouldn't it already be just inside or just outside it's destination's star system?

And the Romulans made a clone of Janeway. But when they put it in the Reman mines. The Remans found it so annoying that they beat it to death with rocks.

The actual size (area and membership) of the Federation, Klingon Empire, Romulan Empire, Cardassian Space etc.
Whatever the hell it entails to be "Daughter of the Fifth House" and what that Fifth House is.
What ultimately happened to Kes.
What ultimately happened to all those one-shot characters who at times were more interesting than the regulars (there are probably some answers in the Novel verse, but they are probably out of print)
Whether Spock and Saavik got married.
What happened in the Prime Universe after the Hobus event (I don't want to have to play STO to find out)
More info on the state of the Federation after the Dominion War.

If the Phase II series had gone forward in the late 70's it was assumed that Shatner would leave the series at some point and Decker would have been CO of Enterprise. Who would have been Decker's XO? One of the established characters (my guess would be Sulu) or a new character created for the series?

What IS a "self sealing stem bolt"?
Self-sealing fasteners (like bolts) can be found at any large hardware store today.

One common kind of stem is on a bicycle, it's what holds the handlebars, and sometimes uses a bolt.

I suppose it could be something like that, but I would have imagined that O'Brien would have been able to explain it if it was. However, here did seem clueless.

How did the crew of Voyager take the news about the Federation in midst of a brutal war (Romulans hadn't joined at that point)? Things were looking bad. Did Janeway consider finding a M-Class planet?

Maybe Guinan's true backstory was that she was actually a Q in hiding. And that the child she mentioned that had trouble listening was really Q.

I always figured that self-sealing stem bolts were probably the fasteners used to attach hull plating to the ship's structure. And all spaceships use them. An episode of "Enterprise" has them detaching a section of hull plating from inside the ship. The one that had a Romulan mine attached to it. That would seem to indicate that the plating is held on by some type of bolt.
