I hate on-again, off-again romances... Worf 'n' Troi

Worf and Troi weren't really off again/on again. They started dating, and then the show ended and he got transferred to DS9.

Well, but you can't get more "off" than that, right?

I know what you mean, and you're probably right, but the way they just pretended, once it was no longer convenient, that that relationship never happened just irks me no end. I mean, please. Trek PTB: We can remember from one season to the next who was having a romance with who, OK?

Once I bought a book entitled The Collected Oral Wisdom of Harpo Marx. Boy was I disappointed.

I hope it wasn't the audio version.

(And the BBSers do not disappoint me!)

Have you guys ever heard of Blackadder by any chance?

A masterwork of awesomeness, except the first series, which wasn't quite so good. It was only in series 2 that they figured out the successful formula for Blackadder, bascially by turning the sniveling down from 11.

Yeah, Prince Edmund just was not very funny and lacked the wonderful cynicism of his descendants.

The Neverending Sacrifice (well, the original novel) is a repetitive epic.

However, I do think the enigma tales, by Shoggoth, would be more likely to go over well. We would just have to tell people it's Columbo--but a lot more serious.
