Things I Hate About Star Trek

Then I shall take the compliment as intended, thank you good sir!

Couldn't we be Marx Brothers instead? Or a Marx Sister, in my case. Because I have to say that I can't understand hardly a word that Donald Duck says - I never have been able to, ever - and so I don't think I want to be his nephew. Or niece, in my case.

Anthony came up with some great ones that I had forgotten. For example, Leeta - I thought I was the only person in Trekdom whose reaction to her was...huh? I mean, I'm all in favor of people finding true love, including Rom, but criminey.

I actually found most of the Dabo girl plots/subplots pretty darn annoying. But maybe that is just me. Perhaps if I liked looking at scantily clad women, I would have liked them better. But my feeling was, jeez, go out and get a real job, ladies. Surely there's work to do on Bajor.

Also, of course, Nemesis - proof positive that you have to be careful what you ask for because you just might get it.

^ Ha, I just noticed Dr. Selar's jiggling eyebrow! Nice touch. :techman:

Well, you guys also remind me of the Animaniacs, if anyone still remembers them.

NCC-1701 came up with ...
Nope, wasn't me.

The reason you just noticed it is because it is brand spankin' new. Is she cool or is she cool? Selar, eyebrow and all, is courtesy of the handsome and talented Praetor.

Yep and Leeta wasn't even the first one. Remember that ridiculously buxom Dabo girl that Jake was dating in season 3? I'm convinced that Leeta was verson 2.0 of her.

Wow, how the hell did I miss ''THAT'' one! I compleatly agree, in fact I think the so-called ''fans'' helped to bring an end to not only ENTERPRISE (my favourite trek) but also helped to ''stigmatize'' trek fans in a very negative light:mad:!

I'm proud of helping to bring about the end of Enterprise, thank you.

Why, thank you. :D

Yup, the guy is awesome, isn't he? I hear he's a good cook, too, and gives a fabulous foot massage.

Heh, you're overestimating me! I can't cook for crap. Massages however... :shifty:

You know what I hate about Trek?

Having to wait another month to see the damn movie. :scream:

And you've heard this from who exactly? ;)

^:rommie:

(I'm sorry but that was a perfect opportunity.)

Oh, now, you deserve the occasional treat. Sometimes an ordinary smiley just isn't enough.

Well, people talk...

Then surely they could come up with something juicier than foot massages and cooking?

Now am I going to have to remember some Marx brothers quotes or Animaniacs moments?

Harpo had some really good ones. ::waits to see if this is too subtle for the BBS crowd but is pretty sure it is not::

Vividly. And not in a good way.
