It made no sense to have a guy who's been angling to escape & warning that he'd kill everyone he could, & espousing the belief that they all are/should be dead already, & then have him get the upper hand on 6 different people, & not kill any of them
I'm having a hard time with the show too. The Eastman episode was a special shining moment in what otherwise hasn't been all that thrilling. What is everyone's job #1 in this world right now? Shooting human bodies in the brain under countless conditions, that's what. The vast majority of them are masterful at it whenever the scene needs to move past it quickly, but let 1 guy get a knife near someone's throat, & suddenly the hardened crack shots just lay their guns down. Come the F### on. It's damn near point blank range, & 1 of the shooters was Rosita, who's survived with the soldier boy this whole time, & who I already consider to be one of the most wasted opportunities in the entire cast.
Pining for Abe is really poor character development for her. I wish like hell they'd give her something worthwhile.
Also, when guys on motorcycles are blocking the damn road, it's not good, & you know better. They have no chance against armed people in a truck. Mow them down or turn & run, trashing them or gunning them down if they follow. They just make them so blundering if they are trying to squeeze them into what I figure is a comic plot, they're itching to get to. It makes me wish there was no comic. At least then they'd have their own direction & wouldn't have to dummy up a scenario to get them to the next big thing in the "bible"
This was very disappointing. Deanna's stuff was the only good stuff about this episode, imho
