The knocked-out guy might recognize Rick, but given being passed out and the struggle he was in it's unlikely he'd remember Rick.

the timeline has me all confused. Bob was with Maggie and Sasha but when he runs into Glen and Daryl (when did they get together?) he was alone and said that he was with 2 other groups and he is the only one left. So what happened to the girls and when? Or was that from the past? Was he lying when he said that the walker only got his bandage when it bit him, or is he a zombie bomb waiting to go off? Poor Beth was so optimistic, saying that she thought most people were so nice that it was inevitable that she run into some nasties.
The pre-credits scene was in the past when Glenn and Daryl originally met Bob. Note that Daryl asks the same "three questions" he asked the Irish chick he ran into at the beginning of the season. (Also note Daryl has his poncho and his motorcycle.)
Bob couldn't have been lying when he said the Walker bite only got his bandage, he would have started feeling the effects of the "active" strain of the zombie virus/infection and been dead from it by now.

...and while guns of a certain make are cookie-cutter, in the world of zombies, where supplies/weapons are limited, Joe's group might notice the weapon in Rick's possession as being the one carried by the now-dead member.
If the group runs into/captures Rick, they might test Daryl's loyalty by demanding that he kill Rick or Carl...rape Michonne...in other words, something stomach turning. Of course, Daryl will try to find a way out for himself and his friends, and with that, a possible part of a season cliffhanger, while the other prison refugees encounter their own nightmares at Terminus.
Do you think the car was heading for Terminus, and that the driver has...odd taste in....meat?
Maybe the person in the car was the person who ran the funeral home?
Really enjoyed this episode. This stuff might not be a little quieter than the stuff in Woodbury and the prison, but it has been some nice character stuff. It will be interesting to see what happens when everyone gets back together, we seem to be seeing some pretty big shifts in the relationships.

are the cannibals, and if Terminus is their home. If so, I'm thinking the signs are actually just a way for them to lure in more victims.
^I'm actually going to be really disappointed if that's not the case.

the preacher they found after leaving the prison, when they took refuge in his Church.
Now that is a possibility....and a turning point for Rick's group, considering how that arc ended.

I doubt Glenn's group could have walked that distance back even in two days unless they were driving really slow or had to constantly stop to push stuff out of the way. Or if they took minimal breaks and little time for sleep (which is unlikely given Glenn's condition, and I don't care what kind of shape you're in, walking all day would be rough).
I think the cast is kept at a healthy size just so that people can be killed off more easily. I mean if you think of when the show started, it was: Rick, Lori, Carl, Shane, Morgan, Duane, Glenn, Andrea, Amy, Dale, T-Dog, Carol, Ed, Sophia, Daryl, Merle, Jim, Jacqui, and the Morales family (4). That's more than we have now, and they managed. I think we can guarantee a death by season's end.

Probably a bit of a stretch to call Morgan, Duane and Merle cast members in the first season. They were in one episode each right?
Well, Hershel was killed off, so of the main characters (meaning the season 1 & 2 survivors), there's not many left. However, I expect another death before the season's end--or a trick cliffhanger leading to an equally expected season 5 premiere death.
The would-be shock value is wearing thin, since the audience is well aware the producers go for gruesome character abuse as a stand-in for drama.
What's next for this show?
1. Carol kills Lizzie when she realizes the girl is a sadistic monster?
2. Tyrese learns Carol killed Karen and David--but understands why neutralizing a threat was logical....and either helps Carol kill Lizzie, or takes on the job himself?
3. Lizzie kills Mika (and/or Judith)--but tells the adults that "don't worry--she will be back!" thus setting her doom in motion?
4. The prison refugees--all travelling on foot--arrive at Terminus and are offered food--only to discover their meal is Beth--who would have arrived earlier thanks to being in a car? Judith?
5. Joe's gang are the Hunters, and to pay Rick back, cut off his hand and eat it? Daryl--now losing all of the hope restored by Beth--now sort of accepts Joe's "hurting other people" idea...by attacking his former friends?
We know this season will end with the mini-resolution of season 3, so we know this will go out with a grisly, beating over the head bang.
...just what kind of bang? Any of the five theories above--or something else?
Maybe. But in those episodes they were more developed than a few of the current cast. Morgan and Merle were at least wondered about when they would return.
Sort of--but not to the point where it would be a spoiler, considering how much the TV series alters or moves away from the comic plotlines. Some are just guesses based on the way certain characters are developed, or dialogue pointing in one direction (ex. Lizzie's behavior early in the season cannot end well, whether she dies or not).
To digress for a second from the last episode, I was reading in the Neutral Zone forum how the US Military spends more than the combined of Russia, China, and all of Europe and Asia combined and it got me thinking about The Walking Dead and the ZA as depicted in the show/comics.
How possibly could the entire US military be rendered completely impotent against a ZA of slow moving zombies as on this show? Between the combination of ground forces - tanks - advanced weaponry and with air suproirty over the zombies e.g. drones - is their any conceivable scenario that anyone can think of that would make this even remotely possible?
I'd think the US military - shit the reserves in each state by themselves- could easily mop up the zombie problem in quick order. Thoughts?

The lack of a front line makes sense, however using our drone capacity to pick-off the zombie herds one-by-one I'd think would easily contain much of the problem.
I have no idea how many drones the US has but it must be at least 300 to 500. Which I'd imagine can cover a large swatch of US territory.
To make TWD viable in South GA it would make sense that GA wouldn't be of strategic importance at least at first - but the comics eventually has the group moving outside of DC and I'd think DC would be a high priority target to retake / relclaim / defend.
