The ugliest Star Trek costume?

Maybe he jizzed his pants just from the excitement of how awesome these uniforms were...
And when I think about it, visit of a restroom must be an interesting, but serious problem and when you are finished, you have to ask someone to close the zipper on the back, which is quite awkward..
This outfit must be a torture of private parts even for a girl, especially when you sit down.

TMP jumpsuits were not the only crotch-revealing ones- but in case of black pants its not so obvious and I like the TOS uniforms.

(Hell, the direct links from trekcore seems to be dysfunctional, hence this 'motivator' from trekp.

TOS - The technicians' pajama jumpsuit, that never made sense to me, no pockets and loose fabric to get snagged in machinery...not very functional...unless you Hugh Hefner.

How are they different to the overalls worn by car mechanics and astronauts?

I suspect the "floating belt buckle" is in fact a "personal personal shielding device."

Press releases of the day explained it as a Perscan device. It allowed the ship's medical computers to monitor the health and wellbeing of all crewmembers. It also measured "biorhythms", which were Very Big in the late 70s.

In addition to the others I said earlier, Archer's one-piece PJ dress uniform at the end of "These Are the Voyages" was especially horrible.

I loved the first and second season TNG uniforms.

I hate the First Contact uniforms. Monotonous black jogging outfits, they resemble neither military uniforms nor anything people with any sense of style would willingly wear on their own.

Speaking of outrageous uniforms, what was with the Ten-Forward bartenders and servers, in those green hounds-tooth checked getups? Looked like something out of a bad episode of "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy".

^ Yeah, what were they going for there? Ten-Forward was a sort of neo-Art Deco. Were the waiters' uniforms also inspired by anything? Luckily, they weren't really noticeable until Ben in "Lower Decks."

Maybe it was conceived by the same person who decided on Guinan's "flat head chef" look. But yeah, you definitely can't help but notice it more in "Lower Decks", with all the screen time for the Ben character.

Dennis, I'll admit Carson had pretty good taste... some of the time. ;)
