Someone refresh my memory. 23d century Discovery and Connies have visible tractor beams?

The Enterprise hasn't used one in either show (yet).

But we saw visible tractor beams used by other ships in Discovery and SNW.

The Enterprise tractored the ship attempting to kidnap the first servant with a visible tractor beam in Lift Us Where Suffering Cannot Reach.

Do we know for sure yet whether or not the U.S.S. Farragut is involved with this episode?

Wondering if Peregrine, Skylark and Eagle were part of an earlier production block along with Constellation?
I expect that we'll see Peregrine's registry number soon enough...

No. I don't know where that rumour even came from. The only ship we know of is the USS Paragrine.

The Nadesco corvette reminds me a bit of Britannia II from Lensman:

I’m surprised this didn’t get on TNG as Okana’s ship or something:

If there is ever a remastered version…it might be nice to have Yotsuya’s prints up there.

And Reliant blueprints superimposed on Khan’s screen—which also used FJs.

Soo! Shall we guess at the NCC number of our new Connie? I'd like to see NCC-1685 or NCC-1697 to give those old lost NCC numbers a home.. But I would almost expect to see NCC-1702 thoughts??

If I'm right about Eagle 985 and Constellation 1017 being part of an earlier block of ships in the Constitution class, it could be a lower registry number.

I was hoping it would be the USS Biddeford, NCC-0718, as omitted from -Into Darkness

The Biddeford was not omitted from Into Darkness; it changed class from Constitution to Newton-type. The ship was seen docked at Starbase 1.

Well, I’ll be damned… I was about to challenge the statement but, according to Memory Alpha, Lakenheath is correct. They did give the name and registry to a Newton.

Looks like the registry might be 3 digits? Hard to tell.
