I recognize that name, she wrote for Family Guy
This Brannon Braga guy should be doing Star Trek.
DSC S1E9 is well worth the time, Bill, and I say this as someone who has been enjoying The Orville over DSC.I'm sure I'll get 8 and 9 watched at some point between now and January 7th. I'm just not real excited about them.
This was really exceptional.
Great writing. Great music. Even the direction was outstanding. This Brannon Braga guy should be doing Star Trek.
Their covers are okay, but I think it's about the part of the show they should switch over to original material.

What exactly would be original? What could they really do that Star Trek hasn't done in one of its seven hundred-plus hours? It is a space exploration show, they are going to be covering a lot of the same ground.
All I care about is that the show is massively entertaining with great characters and has heart. It is something that hasn't gotten sucked into the grimdark black hole that even Star Trek couldn't escape.
