Cathexis is gone. It's bad, but there are bigger stinkers amongst the remaining episodes.

Allow me to reset the scores, and vote for my next choice, which is Retrospect. I vaguely remember it being decent, though the fact I'm having trouble remembering it at all should tell me why it's here in the final round.

I recently rewatched "Retrospect", and wow do I hate it. The messaging is so confused, and the way it switches focus mid-stream pisses me off. The first half of the episode is the Doctor determining Seven has been violated, presenting it to everyone as conclusive proof ("There's no doubt that Seven was the victim of a brutal assault"), and convincing Seven that she must pursue vengeance, when she initially desires just to move on ("Resentment is a human trait. It has no structure, no function. I want no part of it.")

THEN when they start discovering it's all bullshit... THEN the focus incredibly switches to Seven! The Doctor is the one who actually makes all the false accusations and generates the false memories, and then it's Seven the episode blames for it! The very last scene walks this back a little, but on the whole, I found this episode utterly infuriating.

Anywho, my next point goes to "Juggernaut", which I also just rewatched and found satisfying. Good use of the Malon and Torres. This is an enjoyably tense little episode.

After that I guess Emanations, then I have no idea what to vote for. Emanations is 2/10, and the other eight are 1/10 or lower. We will have a deserving winner.

With the other shows, the episodes in the Final Round, it was pretty easy to figure out who would be the last one. Or at least the final 3.

With VOYAGER, I honestly have no idea what the final 3 will be. And I suspect ENTERPRISE will be similar.

I'll take out "Retrospect." There was an idea there, even though it was terribly executed. End of round.
