My final vote for this game is "The Price".
It's a better story and is not as painfully boring as "Aquiel".

"Aquiel" is unspeakably dull...but the very thought of voting for "The Price" makes me gag. The writers and/or casting directors of TNG had no idea what a woman would find attractive, presenting that greasy little weasel as an irresistible charmer. "Who needs rational when your toes curl up?" More like, who needs this guy when you can still get batteries?

THE PRICE reluctantly gets my save. It's definitely an awful episode, but:

Does AQUIEL have any comparably compelling scenes? And is the dullest stuff comparatively better than slimy guy? (It really is a tough choice...)

I'll send Aquiel to the abyss.
It's got everything - a terrible ROTW, a plot that sends you to sleep, and a mystery that just me shrug my shoulders.
I do think The Price is also pretty terrible, as a lot of Ferengi episodes are. Yet seeing the negotiations onboard the Enterprise adds an interesting element to proceedings.

And "Aquiel" becomes our winner for 2023! A first time for this episode... it joins "Shades Of Gray", "The Outrageous Okona", "Code of Honor", and "Journey's End" as winners. (2011, 2018, 2019, and 2021, respectively.)

Ah, but the game is 'Most Disliked Episode'. Doesn't necessarily mean 'Worst Episode'.
All it takes for a bad episode to get saved is one person who either really loves it or it's become a guilty pleasure.
'Most Disliked' can simply mean no one bothered to save it. For example, "Aquiel" is painfully boring, which is one of the reasons why it didn't get saved.

If you have skipped it for a long time, give it a go.
I recently watched some episodes I have steered away from for years and suddenly they weren't that bad, even good.
But, in those cases I didn't remember much about them, it had been that long.
If you know the episode quite well it might be a different thing.
And the dog, nobody even suggested the coalescent organism might be in the dog?
Well, perhaps they assumed the host needs a certain level of intelligence and the dog didn't have enough?
But, the organism didn't require that so.... it was the dog.
Also, I guess Geordi panicked and thought the phaser in his nightstand was the only solution instead of using his communicator to call for help or maybe an emergency transport?
The TNG clip show or the racist season 1 episode would have been my pick. Unfortunately, somehow I missed the game.
In this game, being unremarkable is actually worse than being spectacularly bad.
