You know, I don't totally hate "The Host." It's a fun first appearance of a now-major Trek species, given the amount of details about them that are subsequently discarded.

Partially due to personal preference, but also considering the following, and in no order:

• Space hookups aboard the "D"-train, complete with laughably bad teaser
• A bland and drawn-out escapade where Geordi is shown to be creepy for plotting's sake... again... (and that happens more than once in this list - sheesh! LeVar Burton deserved an award for acting his socks off for a fair amount of that dialogue...)
• Simple scene setups where they screw up the story's internal continuity mid-scene for attempted urgency drama (and falls flat, badly), as well as contriving a character beyond belief for what feels like a cheap shot but that moment's perception and YMMV anyway...
• Misremembering some of the original material for their apparently exciting sequel because it'll be more exciting that way (as someone once said, "the memory cheats", and I will be going back to page one and rewatching all of these glorious clunkers after this game is decided.)
• a tired and silly redo of a revenge story and by the same person, but anyone who's done enough shots of Drambuie can at least, during the appropriate scenes, dribble copiously while shouting "JERRY!" and or "MAURY!" at the TV screen
• a story that can't always make up its mind over what it wants to be in terms of messaging, or to gloss over a biggie, but we'll just let Worf fart real loud and that should be more than compelling on its own; if nothing else it started a trend during the 90s where loads of people got arrested for hauling life-sized metal mock-ups of bat'leths in places they shouldn't have been, ugh...

"The Outrageous Okona" is actually the least annoying and/or the most original of the bunch. Never thought I'd ever get to say that...

Ooof, this is not a pretty list.
Outrageous Okona isn’t really outrageous, but Data’s timing is digital.
The Price is lousy, and all I can remember is that it has Ferengi in it and that weird scene with Troi and Crusher.
Galaxy’s Child is a bit dull but it is interesting to see Brahms meeting Geordie, even if the writers seem to have never had a conversation with a woman in real life and were intent on making him look like a pervert at best.
Aquiel was interesting in theory but they fell back on Geordie being a perv again. I forgot there was a b plot until I looked it up.
Bitrthright pt2 just runs out of steam following from part 1, but isn’t that bad.
Bloodlines feels like a filler episode, and the guy playing the ‘son’ is rubbish. Bok is a bit naff too.

The only one that feels out of place on the list is Birthright, but I prefer Okona, so that gets my vote.

The Outrageous Okona is safe - but not because of Okona. No, it's just that it has a Data subplot - albeit a terrible one. Guinan's droid joke was heinously bad and she somehow insisted it was funny.
