I think he's a decent actor. Enjoyed his turn in Merlin as Villain of the Week, and his role in Syriana.

I also go with Hoshi. She has that "girl next door" beauty without the need for a lot of makeup or revealing clothing. Nice body, pretty face, and intelligence shining in her eyes.

I am hampered in this discussion because I don't really care for beautiful men - I like 'em more rugged and I much prefer distinctive and individual looking to "conventionally handsome" anyway. So personally, I like Chakotay and Spock. No, they aren't beautiful, but when it comes to sex appeal, that. doesn't. matter.

Bashir is very handsome, though - and not in a conventional way, either.

As for women...honestly, I don't think anybody is more beautiful than Uhura.
