I'll do "Survival Instinct" this go-round. I basically like it, but the proposed solution at the end being "we should get them reassimilated to save their lives" is insane and impossible to buy into. The rest of the time, the crew seem to correctly identify assimilation as a fate worse than death. And here, it's established that these characters assimilated existence was even MORE hellish than regular assimilation!

Hmmm. Maybe "Deadlock" this time. It pains me to do so because I looooooooved it as a kid, but these days I really have trouble getting past:

1. How much mileage it's trying to get out of "TWIST -- it's actually the TOTALLY TRASHED Voyager that will survive!" But it's not playing fair with that. This would be surprising, in a show that cared about continuity, which Voyager is not.

2. The ease with which dead Naomi and dead Kim are replaced by their counterparts. That feels more and more wrong every time.
