Well, it's anecdotal evidence, which means it can dismissed as well because I have my own anecdotes of it being full price. And yet your credibility isn't so high.. you asserted that I made an assertion without evidence.
And it doesn't matter where the evidence comes from. I mean if it was a shill site, you would say "yup!"
And you complain that I move the goalposts

If you look at it as a film, it’s actually probably the best of the prequels. AOTC is fairly awkward with storylines that are set up and go nowhere. ROTS is just a lot of box checking. TPM tells a good story that makes sense, albeit a little awkward in the dialogue.
I will always enjoy ROTS by far the most, but I take the point about box checking. TPM feels almost more like a 'traditional' SW film compared to the other two prequels, which are much more of an effects-fest. I think ATOC is the one that's slipped down the most in my ratings.
When I first saw ATOC I liked it a lot because it really tried to fix the issues of TPM, and I appreciated that. It took me a while to realize that while it fixed issues from TPM, it just created whole new issues. Honestly, I think the high level plan for the PT was quite good. It was the execution that let us down.I will always enjoy ROTS by far the most, but I take the point about box checking. you have to wonder why they never released an actual line of new 3 and a half inch figure line for TROS...
or why some of the merch is already on clearance before the movie even drops...
For the longest time, ROTS was my favorite but I realized as I got older that it didn't appeal to me as much. It honestly just felt as though it were there to just make the disparate worlds of AOTC and ANH fit together. There are GREAT Star Wars moments in that movie, please don't mistake me. But as a whole, no thanks.
When I first saw it in 1999, TPM was an enjoyable but not perfect new take on Star Wars. I think I bought too much into the negativity of it. But, again, as I got older, I realized it was a pretty good film on its own.
I liked AOTC a lot when it was first released because I felt that the last third of the movie brought back a lot of the fun of the OT. But when I watched it at home for the first time, that quickly went away.
Action figure market has been on a steady decline for the last decade. The people who want that kind of merchandise is slowly dwindling as the fan base ages.
We have clear conversations about what can come out when, and what needs to stay under wraps. We work around things with that in mind. At least from a Hasbro stand point, [the product on display is maybe 30-35% of our full line.

I watch SW to escape into a fantasy, not be reminded what diversity is with a mallet
It's a woman that seems completely out of step with Star Wars.
You and me both. Holdo didn't bother me in terms of being a "SW character," largely because that is a rather large category. Just look at the cantina scene.I seriously don’t understand how she was out of step with Star Wars?
If it had been a white dude, it wouldn’t have registered a peep from you.
And, you're wrong about it being a white dude-clearly it should have been Admiral Ackbar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A white dude with purple hair, awesome, probably.I seriously don’t understand how she was out of step with Star Wars?

I could say I don't like Holdo... and people can call em sexis
