The Klingon Head

That appears to be late 24th century ceremonial prison-guard head armor or something similar in function. Perhaps this is what some Klingon executioners wear in the Picard era?

* They are fron TNG era. Enterprise 4th season show how the Klingon loose the curved head for a couple of generations in TOS era. It´s canon!!

There's also the chance(of course they are more than likely from the 24thC) that after
the loss of their ridges in ENT, they wore these helmets for a period before we see them in TOS?

I personally think that we will not see a Klingon without a helmet in this film, so the ridge/no ridge question will not be answered -- or even addressed.

Why does everyone seem so confident that these Klingons are from the 24th century? I haven't seen or heard anything to suggest that the TNG era is ever shown in the movie.

Yes. I know. But by the Picard era every Klingon we see with the sole exception of the surgically-altered Arne Darvin("Trials and Tribbleations")has head ridges. So the ENT-TOS genetic mutation is moot by the Nero's time.

Doesn't mean there aren't still perhaps just a small minority of Klingons in the 24th century who still suffer from the disease. I know it isn't canon, but the IDW comic Blood Will Tell shows ridgeless Klingons still around circa 2293, the time of ST VI.

Well it will probably show Spock traveling back from the 24th.
(Hopefully, as that would be a kewl FX moment)

But I agree on the Klingons not being from the 24th.

Fair enough. Wasn't aware of that graphic novel's existence. I guess that makes at least some sense. I guess you can't reverse genetic damage done to millions or even billions and their immediate descendants overnight, and 2293 is less than one full generation after TOS so I guess you'd still have millions of affected Klingons walking around that late in the timeframe.

Jingle Bells...Batman smells...Robin laid an egg...the Batmobile lost a wheel...and the Joker got away.

Ummm, you've remembered incorrectly. "Egg" doesn't even rhyme with "away".

It's "Robin flew away" and, instead of the Joker line, it's "All on Christmas Day".

Simple.

Star Trek: Countdown comics that will start to be released in January are (now confirmed) Post-Nemesis that involves Nero and elder Spock (which leads up to the opening moments of the new film, confirmed.) Then you have older Nimoy-Spock, post Nemesis, following Nero back in time in his timeship. Then TrekMovie confirming a while back that the new movie starts Post-Nemesis.

Enough to suggest anything yet?

Eh...that must be the Australian version :). I fondly remember it as "laid and egg" and "got away".

I know it doesn't rhyme, but we Americans don't need no stinkin' rhyming. ;)

The only thing worse that Klingon head would be Ferengi head.

If you've got to use a kevlar rubber, it just isn't worth it.

Joe, ribbed

The only way that would make a case for 24th Century Klingons being involved is if Nero was escaping their custody or something.
