They read like those "personality tests" that trend every once in a while.I honestly feel these descriptions are extremely vague and generic. I'm not drawn into any of the characters at this point.
There've been a few. Off the top of my head the collection of Doctor Who novelizations that was due out in the summer has been delayed until next spring, as have a few other novels I've had my eye on. Actually, now that I think about it, books I was interested in due out in July and August have mostly been delayed to the spring. Perhaps an indication of how the publishing industry works that the earliest they were impacted by these Corona times is four months after the outbreak hit?I can't recall any other book releases being delayed.
The end of the chapter is much better than the beginning. WAY too much exposition and crammed in world building.IGN has posted the first chapter of The Light of The Jedi, along with an some comments from it's author, Charles Soule.
I didn't read the whole excerpt, but I read a little bit of it, and it was good.
Looks good.StarWars.com has posted a preview of the first few pages of the first issue of Marvel's The High Republic series.
Seems like a pretty good start to me.
I also like how the metal crossguard retracts with the blades, keeping that sleek, elegant look on the belt.StarWars.com has given us our first look at the lightsaber of Higher Republic era Jedi Master Stellan Gios.
I think it's a really cool design, it's very elegant, and I love the crossguard blades going into the metal crossguard.
