Two people, one now deceased. Very he said, he said. And that said, it brings nothing to the accuser except grief so you wouldn't do this for fun or even conspiracy. And you look into Pell's dead-eyed face, see so little compassion, it's all too easy to believe.

What about when he was interviewed quite a while ago about the sexual abuse charges of another priest (can't remember the name of the accused) and when he was asked about his knowledge on the matter, his answer was basically, "I didn't really think much about it." No? You didn't really think much about the possibility that a child was sexually assaulted? Heck of a guy.
I wonder too...if he was innocent, why did they try to use bullshit to "prove" it? The robes can't be pulled aside or opened? What the hell kind of stupid defense is that? "If the robe don't split, you must acquit!"
