Don't think scummo and the federal lnp can take any comfort. The polls indicated it could be a minority govt for the lnp that's what it's looking like. In comparison the polls for the feds are showing labor clearly ahead with the margin generally shifting back and forth between 4 and 6 points.
Comment elsewhere than when looking at NSW vs the feds, that you guys have optional preferential voting which can allow a candidate to win with less than 40% of the vote.
We have a Liberal government in Tasmania but federally we don’t have a single Liberal member in the House of Reps and only 4 of our 12 senators are Liberals.
How anyone could even think of voting for something like Latham, never mind actually do so... Unreal. The mind boggles at what depths he'll sink the bear pit to.

Seems like 5.83% of the population voted for that party, well that is what I saw when I looked for results. Kinder glad that I live in Victoria now, as I pretty much ignored most of the coverage.
