The Down Under Lounge

So does anyone here think things will settle down now that we have a new PM and the vote has been done, or will people in the party keep agitating and causing problems?

Nope. Duddon and Abooot are building up for a new vote. Also Murdoch. he's backing SloMo now but it's only a matter of time.

apparently ScuMo is inviting the liar-in-chief to visit australia. I'm sure bernardi is just creaming himself at the thought of mango menace in Australia.

hopefully they lose the election before it happens

Which year?

:angel:

This year. I think we could see another spill.

@Orac Zen two things.

One, I do believe Labor cares more about the people in the lower economic end of tings.
We'll have to agree to disagree. Labor talk a good game but "the good of the Labor Party" is always their mantra whenever any sort of drama crops up. And no one should forget that Labor, the so-called "progressives", have supported the disgraceful asylum seeker policies and the intrusive "anti-terrorist" policies put forth by the other lot since they've been in government. On that basis alone Labor has no right to occupy any moral high ground whatsoever. They really are no better than the the other lot. YMMV.

Yes, it is one of the great disappointments I have with them... and they are still better than LNP.

Only one thought after looking at scumo's cabinet.

Who says conservatives don't believe in recycling.

he's recycled must of turnbull's cabinet a number of who were recycled from abbott's cabinet that was first created with recycling from howard's last cabinet.

are the libs really that be-reffed of talent? (rhetorical question).

Newspoll is out and it's brutal.

Labor leads 2pp 56/44 (which going by election calculator would see them pickup 43 seats possibly more if updated for the outcome of 2016).

even worse is the one glimmer of hope the newscorpse and the libs. preferred pm.
Shorten has gone from trailing turnbull to leading scumo 39/33
