Unless they chose to support the lnp on confidence and supply (in this instance the upcoming budget) the government will fall. Labor probably won't have the solid numbers to form a new govt so Australia could be off to the polls.
Danger is that anger at an triggering an election during a covid lock down could work against labor (just ask Canadians how popular trudeau's election call is - his lead in the polls is vanishing at a rapid rate).

Number 2 tried to lie to me when he told me he had the Covid vaccine. I said to him ‘when is your second appointment’. He try to tell me that they said he only needed one jab. I then suggested we look up on his MyGov account to see what his Medicare record says. He then tried to tell me he paid for the vaccine and did not use his Medicare card.
I told him that if he wanted to continue living with him he had to have the vaccine. I made him an appointment. Now he is telling me his girlfriend has broken up with him because he is getting the vaccine and she is anti-vaccine because she says the vaccines are being given to people to depopulated the world.
He is blaming me for the breakup. He also accusing me of wanting to poison him. I told him he is free to move out if he does not want the vaccine.
Number 1 son is angry at me as I have said he will not be welcome to spend Xmas with us if he isn’t fully vaccinated.
Thank heavens that number 3 son is very much pro-vaccine.
