News The Disney+ (The New Streaming Service) Thread

It was a short, and I don't see any shorts up there, just full length movies and shows.
Probably only distributed by Fox, but made by someone else who owns the rights. Too lazy to look up details right now :)
That's probably it, but I just feel like looking it up right now.

Ok, apparently the Twitter account confirmed basically all the major Marvel cartoons, even the ones I was worried wouldn't make it. I am going to lose so many hours to Spider-Man TAS, Spider-Man Unlimited, Spider-Woman, Silver surfer, The Incredible Hulk (cartoon), X-Men TAS, etc. This has got to be the most "for me" streaming service just based off of its TV offerings. I can't wait for it to come out.

Hope you got the D23 offer to hook up the best service to the best deal :)

So what are the first things everybody plans on watching?
For me it's The Mandalorian, Star Wars: Rebels Season 3 - 4, Star Wars: Resistance, The Spectacular Spider-Man, Talespin, the Trons, the Black Cauldron and The Black Hole.

Mandalorian got me here, but the legacy offerings will be what keeps me :)

Didn't have the money, unfortunately. Still, its really affordable (especially for all the content it has), and in a worst case scenario Netflix can go away for a bit without me being too bothered.

I'll definitely be watching The Mandalorian, Spider-Man: TAS, Spider-Woman, Silver Surfer, Incredible Hulk cartoon and probably random movies that catch my eye. Mix in some scattered Simpsons episodes and probably even more cartoons that I happen to notice and there aren't enough hours in the day for me to watch everything I want as fast as I want

I might have to wait until Falcon and Winter Soldier has been released, but I'm really looking forward to The Mandalorian, Clone Wars season 7 and a few other things.

Probably The Mandalorian, but definitely Darkwing Duck.

I also forgot to mention, when it comes to things we're going to watch, that the One Day at Disney documentary series, about various behind the scenes things at various Disney places, also looks really interesting. It looks like it will be coming out fairly quickly (not day 1, but December 3rd apparently, with a feature length documentary followed up by 52 short form episodes). I'll probably be watching it, too, since it seems like it could be pretty entertaining.

Obviously The Mandalorian is priority #1 for a whole ton of us, but you folks all forgot to mention Jeff Goldblum!
I actually forgot about that one, but it's a little farther down the list than the stuff I listed in my last post.

I think the Goldblum thing could be funny for an ep or two but I honestly doubt it will some incredible, amazing show.

Here's some news on the non-fiction front for Disney+, this time regarding the "Marvel's 616" series.

and here's even more nonfiction/documentary Disney+ news:

On the fiction side of things, I'm not terribly surprised by the news that they've already renewed High School Musical The Series The Musical The Series The Quickening for a second season. As has been discussed more and more lately, all these new streaming services are trying to get people's attention with new series, but they also want to make sure they keep those people's attention, so we're seeing lots of series renewed long before they even air.

They're also already working on Season 2 of the Mandaloria, apparently Carl Weathers mentioned somewhere that he's going to be directing an episode of Season 2.
