This reminds me of Sir Patrick's "A catsuit? That sounds provocative" remark during an interview that featured him and Jeri Ryan... now where was it... ah, right here. Starts at around 2:30.
And yeah I was never really impressed with the catsuits they had for Seven, Troi and T'Pol either. But then I'm probably the wrongest person to comment on this

I think this guy is more badass.

The term "chest hair" summons me as well.
I guess Q was the only one to enjoy this.... It was when JLP was still younger. But he keeps on carrying a show like hardly anyone else.

I honestly can't blame Q for enjoying the sight of Jean-Luc's chest hair in the morning because that chest hair is INCREDIBLY beautiful. No matter if it's TNG Jean-Luc or PIC Jean-Luc chest hair... what a guy
While I am fond of Picard, and delighted that Seven gets to resemble a human instead of a sex toy in this series, my favorite character in Picard in Elnor. Love the hair, love the kung fu, love the candor.
And while men aren't my preference, I'm very much a supporter of chest hair. And beards, too. Never got the whole "clean shaven" thing.
I often complain that there is no consequences in older Trek. Well, to the series's credit, we get some here. And if that means the loss of a character I liked, I can live with it.

I've only ever seen all of VOY once, and that was close to 20 years ago, but Seven's moments are some of the most memorable for me - like when she tries or threatens to break someone's arm for touching her or something? Very relatable. IT'S ME. Don't TOUCH ME. Ever. (And I don't remember her because of her outfit or anything, I am THOROUGHLY unaffected by women in catsuits.) So when I heard she'd be joining the show I was really pleased because I counted on getting a scene that involves a conversation about her and Jean-Luc's common past as Borg drones etc. So yeah, I'm fond of Seven as well.
Somehow, I'm not surprised "women in catsuits" isn't your thing. I reckon I can envision your thing quite easily, in fact.
Dude, really? We've been discouraging this sort of thing for several years now. Kinda prudish, I know, but there are reasons for it.
Post deleted, although I have to ask, how is it any different than the posts with the bare chested guys? All were pictures from an actual Trek episode. I didn’t realize cleavage was forbidden.

Yeah I know, I’m easy to please because everyone knows what (or rather, who) is my thing. What can I say, I’m a simple gay. Err, guy. I mean guy.
I do notice that Seven of Nine is attractive tho, and I do think putting her into a catsuit was a disgrace because Seven as a character deserved more than being reduced to eye candy - as did T’Pol on ENT, she’s one of my faves on that show - and I’m glad she’s now finally getting more on PIC… and NO more catsuit.
I don’t think she was “reduced” to eye candy. Sure, she was eye candy, but that didn’t stop her from also being a fascinating and complex character.
