No offense (she's a great actress and her character rules, yes) but I'm not sure this needed an entire thread?
Please be kind enough to go through this forum and list the threads that are justified and which ones are not so I know which ones to skip. Thank you!!

I know I don’t even have to say who I think the best character is because everyone can guess that one… but I’ll plant my little JLP shaped flag anyway
Sir Patrick Stewart is the one who makes me watch this show. Aside from that: Ito Aghayere as young Guinan and Sol Rodríguez as Teresa are great assets. But I have to agree, Orla Brady's performance is outstanding. Elnor on the other hand is superfluous, Evan Evagora has almost nothing to do except Spoiler: Elnor being the martial artist as usual and dying.
You can’t invite your husband as the best man to your own wedding, so let’s rephrase this. Who (from the Picard series) would you invite as best man to yours and Jean-Luc’s wedding? This is your ‘best’ character from Picard.
Good point Hmm… I’d say Q (he and I have some character traits in common, most notably the way we look at and fuss over a certain Frenchman) but Jean-Luc would probably divorce me before we even got married if I suggested that, so nah… probably a bad idea So… I’d say I give that honor to Rios because he seems like a great dude to hang out with and I’m sure he’d be honored to be best man because he views Jean-Luc as a father figure and all. (He can bring his cigar, too. I won’t mind, I occasionally enjoy a cigarette myself.) We won’t invite the Borg Queen tho, no matter how much I like some of those awesome Pat Banatar songs from the 80s (and 80s music in general)
That's because she's a poor character, especially after getting away with murder. I'm sorry, but after the last season, I'm afraid I would have 'brutally fired' Alison Pill.
For me, it's Picard and Seven. I don't dislike the new cast – and I would probably adore Elnor if the poor kid had more to do! – but all the baggage that Stewart's and Ryan's characters bring has really helped to deepen their depictions here in ways that I'm not certain would have occurred otherwise.
Rios is one of the best characters, along with Raffi. Rios has earned his own novel - Rogue Elements, German translation on its way. And he already has his own thread. Same is true for Raffi....
I've only ever seen all of VOY once, and that was close to 20 years ago, but Seven's moments are some of the most memorable for me - like when she tries or threatens to break someone's arm for touching her or something? Very relatable. IT'S ME. Don't TOUCH ME. Ever. (And I don't remember her because of her outfit or anything, I am THOROUGHLY unaffected by women in catsuits.) So when I heard she'd be joining the show I was really pleased because I counted on getting a scene that involves a conversation about her and Jean-Luc's common past as Borg drones etc. So yeah, I'm fond of Seven as well.
