yeah it is crazy he lofted so many things like the dune opening and then has the gall to sue cbs.
Now that he's going to be receiving cash from his involvement in this whole thing, if I were him I'd be keeping a really low profile.
Especially if the folks who's music he "borrowed" find out.

Not unexpectedly, I see people writing on social media that Ketwolski is really "grasping at straws" and that they've officially unsubbed him.
Thing is, if Midnight's Edge had made the video that Ketwolski just made, but it was CBS stealing more ideas from Anas rather than Anas lifting from Dune, etc., the same people would no doubt be crying foul at CBS.

You know, I can't get over the fact how fishy that entire gofundme thing is. Like, 1k per hour for his lawyer?! I tried to find out average hourly rates for lawyers, which isn't easy since there are a lot of factors like location, work experience, prestige/demand, and specialization and while I found hourly rates of 1000$ per hour it was for

bery true however the biggest thing he stole when he made a game using somebody else’s ip was from .... cbs.

This is par for the course in these kind of reactionary fan communities. Anyone who was familiar with ComicsGate will recognize the pattern.
These are aging nerds, and what entertainment they don't get from new franchise material (Marvel/Star Wars/Star Trek) they get through their bitterness, much of it stoked by YouTube channels. Then comes the grift: "You can fight these corporate bastards by giving money to some pee wee who they are picking on!" The fans, of course, think THEY are the pee wees, so handing over their money to a lost cause IGG becomes their catharsis.
This is also the sort of ongoing drama that the YTs need to keep generating clickbait videos. If the "tardigrades" thing ever goes away, they need to find a new lolcow to exploit. Keeping Anas in court is actually part of their business model, similar to the Waid/Meyers drama over in ComicsGate world.

I'm not sure that they are keeping it going other than to avoid admitting they backed the wrong horse. The axis of stupidity (Dumbcock, Nerdrotic and the like) have always been willing to rally their fans and claim victory whenever possible. Hell, they believe that they have effectively kicked Kurtman off the production (he's been promoted away from the show, y'know!).

No no, they backed the RIGHT horse! It doesn't matter if Anas wins or loses, if there are merits to his case or not. He is a cause celebre that they have successfully marketed and monetized. He is their mascot! They can't let him go.
Of course, I agree, they want to keep the money flowing. However, they seem to be going after many franchises on many fronts.

Honestly I'm not certain what was ever stopping him from completing his game.
