Spoilers Supernatural Season 15--the final season

A fun episode, with a lot of momentum going.

Dean's possible reasons for the Occultum being lost... priceless.

Everyone's getting a cameo this year, which is cool. Very nice touch to see Rachel Miner again. I always liked her Meg.

HunterCorp? Wow, taking the phrase 'family business' extra seriously. And worldwide, with two pilots on standby? The whole exchange was hilarious.

"You got to lose the man-bun." Truer words were never spoken.

So the Garden of Eden is real. Does that mean we'll actually meet Adam and Eve before it's over?

So The Empty is really full... of sadness and regret. Makes sense, given the name and the look. It still begs the question of how the Empty Creature woke up to begin with. Why is it only Castiel woke him? Could it be a combination of all the things that happened to him over the years? Maybe being briefly supercharged by millions of Purgatory souls made him powerful enough to trigger the Empty Creature, because as far as we know, that was the only time a being was Chuck-level powerful before Amara was released.

And Jack has his soul back! I think he will end up being the new God, but instead of killing Chuck, he will throw him into The Empty. Maybe Amara, too.

I loved this episode.

The alternate Sam and Dean were oddly out of place in this episode. They weren't needed for the story and their characters didn't make any sense. They didn't care at all about their world being destroyed and instead of continuing to hunt they're going to chill out in Brazil? What? What a strange one-off joke.

The latest great episode in a great season. And what a frustrating place to leave off.

The visit to the Garden of Eden had me laughing out loud. Ever since the Mark of Cain, at least, I've been hoping to see more characters and references to the Old Testament, and I was especially hoping to see Adam and Eve pop up. That didn't happen, but we did get an all-too-brief visit to the Garden-- complete with the Talking Snake! :rommie: Who was obviously not Lucifer, interestingly enough. And who was the little Elfin Girl who spoke to Jack? An Angel? It seems like Eden has been isolated from everything outside for a very long time, so I wonder what goes on there. Very intriguing.

And what was up with that Occultotron, or whatever it was? Is it a transportation device, or is Eden inside of it, or both? And where does it go after you eat it and get transported to Eden? Is it still in Jack's intestines? How do two people go to Eden? Is there more than one Occultotron? And how did Jack get back? Did the Snake send him? I want an Eden spinoff. :rommie:

No spinoff for the Beacon Hill Winchesters, though. These guys are monster hunters? They must hire people to do their dirty work for them. :rommie:

And now Jack has his soul back. Poor guy. He's back to full strength and full capacity for pain. And we'll have a long wait to see if Dean forgives him.

Indeed, and it made me wonder if they would play some part in the Grand Finale-- or if their father would. I noticed that they mentioned their father was with them, but he got separated, which was another odd touch.

I kept wondering why Castiel and Jack never tried contacting Billie for help getting information from Ruby. It seems like they missed a step with that one.

I think it's a matter of Billie being unreliable as someone to call on when needed. I think it was last week's episode when Jack said he tried to call her many times but didn't answer, only sent her minion.

@RJDiogenes : the Occultum. ;)

It indeed sets up a lot of questions about what exactly it does. What does being in Eden do? We know it gave Jack his soul back but what would it do for a human?

It is going to be a torturous wait; we have no idea how long it will be.:(

I love seeing Billie show up, but I fear her. :rommie:

Right. I knew it was something like that. :rommie:

Sadly, that will probably be the last time that we see it-- unless the finale involves some people being allowed to retire there (like Ma and Pa Winchester), which would be nice. But I'd love to know what goes on there, and what Chuck's original purpose was in creating the place.

The very last episode will be titled, "Carry On." That sounds at least a little hopeful.
Here's a nice montage video from Wayward Winchester--there's some info and interviews sprinkled in.

:sigh:
I miss Supernatural so much. It's bad enough being out of work, not being able to go out, not being able to visit my Mom but, on top of all that, there's no new Supernatural, not even the last few episodes to watch. Argh!

So I'm just going to post random Supernatural stuff, almost like we have some new SPN stuff to look forward in the near future. Even though we don't. Or something.

Whatever.

Final episodes returning in the Fall

The CW confirmed that the delayed final seven episodes of Supernatural will air in fall, ahead of the January 2021 launch of Jared Padalecki‘s Walker, Texas Ranger reboot.

“We already have five episodes in the can of Supernatural,” CW prez Mark Pedowitz told reporters Thursday in a conference call. “Jared and Jensen [Ackles] will go back as soon as they’re able to to finish up the last two episodes, and then [Jared] will go off to work on Walker.”

Regarding a specific timetable re: shooting the final two Supernatural episodes, Pedowitz hedged, “We hope that they will be able to start shooting sometime in late summer or fall. And if not, we will then become flexible and rearrange our scheduling.

Still, it would be funny if the pandemic resulted in an "extra season" of Supernatural. :rommie:

And... Walker, Texas Ranger? :rommie:
