Well, damn, that was a busy episode.
I was very disappointed to see Gabriel die, just as he was becoming a more interesting and likeable character. There's always the possibility of resurrection, I suppose, but that seemed very final. Of course, it once again raises the question of what happens to somebody from our world when they die in that world-- maybe that will give the writers a dodge to bring him back.
We got Alternate Bobbie and Alternate Charlie in the same episode! And Lucifer. I guess they're really blowing the budget on these last couple of episodes.
It seems that Lucifer was starting to believe his own propaganda despite himself. He was genuinely trying to impress and win over Jack, and Gabriel's dressing down hit close to the bone-- for a minute there, he seemed to see himself as the insecure whiner that he really is. Unfortunately, I think Sam's last-minute betrayal will turn out to be a big mistake-- if he had brought him through, that might have been the moment that changed everything. Instead, we have Luci conspiring with Alternate Michael.
Alternate Cass cracked me up. "Ve haf vays of makink you talk."

Too bad he was killed off so quickly.
I've been wanting to see the MOL bunker fully manned again, but I didn't expect a full contingent from the other world. That was quite a scene. And Rowena really pulled her weight by keeping the rift open long enough for them to get back with just about everyone. She seems to be another reformed character, but I guess next week will tell the tale.
That is very disappointing. I thought it was a sure thing, and I was really looking forward to it.
