One thing I picked out of this review was the idea that the movie was supposed to take place over a week with the name of each day popping up on screen. That would have been kinda interesting. Maybe we'll get an extended cut with that idea put back in.
I liked that idea too. Apparently test audiences didn’t, though, for whatever lowest-common-denominator reason, and Gunn bowed to their preferences. At least those have been the rumors/reports.
The movie doesn’t suffer for not including the title cards, but it would have been a cool touch IMO.
Gutter trash of the lowest order. Avoid at all costs. Some guy called Nerdrotic.

On rewatch, I noticed that the missing time interval in there is filled in by the movie.
I'm guessing he's also anti-shoot an innocent shop owner in the head but there's Lex doing it.See, something like that is absolutely fair and I wouldn't have liked that either (regardless of my own previously mentioned feelings about Krytpo).
That said, I'm surprised Gunn, who has previously demonstrated his anti-animal cruelty stance, would include such a scene in the first place.
This was so expertly handled for backstory. Sweet and succinct.
Sure it did....
showed us what'd really happen if Superman was a reality.
Well Krypto is a superhero as much as superman. That means a villian might beat him up. It doesn't mean Gunn isn't anti animal cruelty. Most people are. It's just that villians are bad people and Ktypto being a super crime fighting dog is always in danger of being hurt or killed. With that said I get it. No one wants to see a dog beaten in a movie.
You know, I love Supe's line about "I was hoping we could take it to an intergalactic zoo." It's a very sweet-natured evocation of the whole Silver Age comic book vibe - preposterous and extravagantly matter-of-fact.

The first video is praising nerdrotic. I didn't watch the second yet.
I looked at nerdrotics channel. He has a ton of subs and views. He seems pretty successful. Looks like he's just an opinionated nerd like the rest of us. Lol
He's got tons of subs and views the same way Alex Jones has followers. He's a Grifter Hack who freaks out anytime he sees a woman who isn't a useless shrieking damsel or a nonwhite in anything.
It’s not an “issue.” That’s dignifying and legitimizing such people’s BS far more than it deserves. There's channels on both sides of the issue.
