Perhaps, it's somewhat fitting that after the hijinx of May's time travel based Theme we should find ourselves looking back to April's Challenge and so...

Welcome to the voting thread for the 237th Trek BBS Fan Art Forum Challenge!

Our Theme for April was "The Catwalk", and described as:

The Catwalk
What fashion can be found sashaying down the catwalks (runways for the Americans :)) of Cait, Fillandia (Ariolo), and Janus VI? Would a Xindi-Aquatic wear Tholian silk? And what would an Aurelian wear to pop to the shops?
Your task is to design an item of apparel, an outfit, costume or uniform (not necessarily Starfleet) for a non-humanoid Federation citizen or other denizen of the Star Trek Universe. Preferably being worn by said non-humanoid!

Proving you just can't rush fashion we finally have enough entries for a poll and what could be any more fitting than the winner of the contest earning the privilege of wearing, on their profile, this season must have accessory, the much prized golden “Fan Art Challenge Winner” badge. 🏆 🎉

We have TWO stylish entries from which you can choose your favourite in the poll:

@halima
Delves into Trek Lit and shows us Choblik ceremonial wear.

I thought that the choblik might hold ceremonies in honor of their origins, with volunteers temporarily removing as much of their cybernetics as they can bear in a show of humility. The ornamentation shown would be strictly ceremonial, being far too restricting and vulnerable for everyday wear. I imagine the rope is dyed in colours that are enhanced to the cybernetic eye- the point is to draw attention to the fragility of the neck, and maybe other vulnerable parts, i imagine ear piercings or dyeing the underbelly. The occasion serves to show respect to the great builders by exaggerating the defenseless state of the choblik without cybernetics.

@Starscape
Imagines what if the Melkot(ian)s from TOS's "Spectre of the Gun" picked up an idea or two from their simulation of the Old West.
