After turning into a snake, the Polymorph promptly sucked the fear right out of Kes, leaving her with an uncontrollable urge to go beat up some Borg and Seven wasn't around yet. It would later rob Neelix of his happiness and gratitude, leading to the infamous Voyager Chili Incident.
...according to established history, removal of fear by a Polymorph leads to "let's get out there and twat it"
